8760 - from Augsburg westwards
Grandpa runs West
"8,760 kilometers - that's how far Hanna from Kiritiri, Kenya, and her three daughters have to walk each year just to provide their family with water. This is the equivalent of the overland distance from Augsburg, Germany to Hollywood! To draw attention to social injustices like these and simultaneously raise funds for a new water supply system in Kiritiri, I'm walking in this direction: from my hometown of Augsburg to the west.

We are collecting donations to reactivate an old water distribution system (with cisterns, gutters, etc.) in the Kenyan province of Embu.
10,000 euros in primary funding would be a milestone for the reactivation of this important lifeline for almost 7,000 people in Kiritiri.
